Display of banners at the Stonington Borough Fire Department are allowed:

 

May 1 - October 15

 

pending advance approval of the Board of Warden & Burgesses.

 

Non-Profit Organizations wishing to display a banner at the Borough Firehouse for a one week time period prior to the event should read the policy and regulations below, and if interested, please submit application (see link below) and applicable fee as stated to the office:

Advance approval of the Board of Warden & Burgesses is required.  Their meetings are held monthly on the third Monday of the month.  Please allow sufficient time for your application to be processed.

In accordance with Ordinance SBO-07, garbage must be kept in closed and secured containers, tightly sealed, in order for it not to be accessible to animals  except for the day of the collection ONLY (Tuesday), when yellow bags may be put out at the curb no earlier than 6 am.
