BUDGET
Work on next
year’s Budget has begun with the goal of keeping a balanced budget with no
increase in spending and maintaining the same mil rate. If you have questions or thoughts about the
budget please attend the Special Meeting (Thursday, 25 March, 7:30 pm, at the
firehouse) or contact the Warden or a Burgess, so we can present a satisfactory
Proposed Budget at the Annual Meeting (Saturday, 17 April, 9:00 am, at the
firehouse).
CANNON
SQUARE
At the 15 March Regular Meeting
of the Warden and Burgesses, a vote will be taken on the Cannon Square
plans. The plans are those that have
been presented at the publically held Special and Regular Meetings over the
last few months. Many people from our
community have worked together with the Warden and Burgesses to design a
fitting and beautiful monument for all to enjoy.
A
preliminary assessment of the condition of each street in the Borough has been
received and over the next few weeks it will be analyzed in order to make a prioritized
multi-year plan for repairs.
