Permits are required when placed on Borough streets and require advance approval from the Street Commissioner. Placement on the streets should follow parking restrictions and allow safe passage of all emergency vehicles.

In accordance with Ordinance SBO-07, garbage must be kept in closed and secured containers, tightly sealed, in order for it not to be accessible to animals except for the day of the collection ONLY (Tuesday), when yellow bags may be put out at the curb no earlier than 6 am.
