About Garden Waste:

The first Monday of each month, unless otherwise noted, the Borough Highway Department will collect your leaves, weeds, clippings and branches, starting at 7:00 A.M.  If the first Monday of the month should be a holiday, the collection will be the following day.  Branches should be tied in bundles not to exceed 4’.  These bundles should not be heavy and should be able to be picked up by one person (approximately 35 lbs.).  Anything deemed to be overweight will be left.  Weeds, leaves and clippings may be placed loose in a container or in plastic or paper leaf bags.

About Dogs:

The Borough Ordinance SB0-9 states that all dogs must be leashed when in public areas.  If you see an unaccompanied dog, leave a message with the Dog Warden (599-2028).

The Ordinance also states that dog owners and keepers must clean up after their dog in a public place.  Small plastic bags can make it easy to pick it up and take it with you.  Your observance of this Ordinance will be appreciated by all of us.
