WALDRON FUND
The Waldron Fund, established in 1837 through a bequest from Jonathan C. Waldron to Stonington Borough, can provide modest sums of financial assistance to Borough residents who need help with the costs of food, fuel, and clothing during the winter months (October through April). The Waldron Fund is administered by three trustees who are elected annually by Borough Residents at the Annual Borough & Budget Meeting in April. Current trustees are: Kathryn Burchenal, Lisa Tepper Bates, and Mary Maranell.
Through the years, individuals and families have donated generously to the Waldron Fund in the spirit of “neighbors helping neighbors.” Please consider a donation to the fund in your giving plan.
